Flow Test Information


Third-party flow testing on a computer controlled SuperFlow SF-600 demonstrate the high flow ability of the Extrudabody aero-shaft and air-horn designs.  Most notably, our 40mm product flows 5% more air than a leading competitor with a generic air horn.

Have a small block v8 and worried that you need 48 or 50mm ITBs?  Well before you decide against 45mm ITBs, did you know that even race heads rarely flow more than 280 CFM (see http://www.airflowresearch.com/chp_test.php).  Our 45mm ITB flows 292 CFM, which is a nice match for even modified small blocks.

Testing Parameters:  (see pictures of setup below)

  • Tester:  Devine Automotive Machines
  • Throttle Plates set to WOT
  • Standard pressure used (20.5") for all tests
  • Fuel injectors installed
  • Room temp 72 degrees BP @ 28.54
  • TTest plate 5/8" thick, mounted on 4" diameter cylinder head adapter
  • SuperFlow SF-600 with FlowCom
