Extrudabody Announces Quick-Mount Fuel Rail and ITB System - March, 2007

Extrudabody specializes in high performance fuel injection (FI) and is pleased to announce two new FI product lines.  The first is our Individual Throttle Body (ITB) system for EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) applications.  Our ITBs will be the most flexible available because the system is completely modular.  If you can build toys with Erector Sets®, then you can use Extrudabody to make a high performance fuel injection system.  Whether your are replacing some sidedraft carbs with EFI or building a no-compromise V8 ITB setup, our system can work for you.  We are not releasing all the details yet because we are still in testing phase, but we expect to ship product in late Spring 2007.  Check back for more details or email info@extrudabody.com to be notified when we are ready to launch (don't worry, we won't give our your email to anyone else for any reason).

The second product line we are announcing today is our new Quick-Mount Fuel Rail System. As with our ITB system, we feel our rails are the most flexible setup on the market.  We designed our fuel rail to integrate perfectly with our ITBs, but also to be highly adaptable to almost any engine.  Other companies can sell you raw fuel rail extrusion, but then you'll have to drill and tap the ends, drill and tap mounting holes, and drill fuel injector holes.  Or, you can buy an imported fuel rail system of unknown quality.  For about the same money as either of these solutions, you can get our product which has been designed to be easily customized.  Learn more here.

If you've read out Products section, you know that our ITBs are designed to be the most versatile in the industry.  We want your help to show that versatility by putting our product on your car, truck, motorcycle, boat, or even snowmobile or ATV!  So here's the deal, in exchange for us selling you an ITB setup at below our cost and providing plenty of live technical support, you get the system up and running and let us share pics and info about your ride on our website.  You'll get to show off your handiwork and get a great deal in the process.  Sound good to you?  Then contact us at info@extrudabody.com.

There are some catches of course - if we already have someone installing our stuff on the same type of engine or vehicle, then you may be out of luck for the highly discounted price.  Also, we want to showcase applications that have looks to go along with performance.  If your engine bay looks like it was just recovered from a Katrina flood, then we might pass.

And one more catch - if you're not ready to start turning a wrench and getting running in a couple weeks time, then we'll need to find someone who can move a bit faster.  Remember, we sell almost all the ITB hardware you'll need, but not ECUs, fuel pumps, regulators, etc.  If you've never done a custom EFI system before, you'll need to dedicated a lot of time to figuring out and installing all the other parts you'll need.

Our initial product line will be aimed at Individual Throttle Body applications with bore sizes of 40 and 45mm.  50mm will be coming soon, and sizes under 40mm and over 50mm are in development.  Feel fee to contact us and propose an application regardless of what size or configuration.
